Charity programme brings joy to border residents

The Moc Chau district Youth Union, in collaboration with the Hanoi University of Industry and VitaDairy Company, organised a charity programme in the border communes of Chieng Son and Chieng Khua on January 9-10.

The charity group handed over the “border light” project, along with three bookshelves, school equipment, 50 gift packages for poor households and policy beneficiaries, and nearly 800 others for teachers and students in the two communes, with a total value of nearly 175 million VND (6,897 USD).

The charity programme is one of the meaningful activities that reflect the pioneering and volunteer spirit of youth union members. Their deeds have contributed to spreading love and sharing hardships with ethnic communities in border areas.
