Chieng Thuong hamlet meets new-style, model new-style rural area standards

Quang Huy commune in Phu Yen district on January 16 held a ceremony to announce Chieng Thuong hamlet as meeting new-style and model new-style rural area standards in 2023. This is the second hamlet in the district recognised as a model new-style rural area.

The Chairman of the Phu Yen district People's Committee hands over a certificate recognising Chieng Thuong hamlet as meeting new-style and model new-style rural area standards to the locality.

Currently, the hamlet has 170 households belonging to three ethnic groups of Thai, Muong and Kinh. Carrying out the task of building a model new-style rural area, every week, officials from the district’s offices and divisions came to the hamlet to, together with local people, implement works under the programme "Day to come to the grassroots to build new-style rural areas". In addition, the hamlet also held meetings to agree on people's contribution levels to expand roads.
