Fifth “warm winter for children” programme held in Phieng Pan commune
Following the success of the four previous editions, the fifth “warm winter for children” programme was held on December 24 at the Na Hien Primary School in Phieng Pan commune, Mai Son district. This is part of the “Nurturing Children in Moc Chau” project operated by the Youth Committee of the provincial Department of Public Security.
At the event, 150 gifts including warm clothes, candy, books and toys were presented to the school’s students. They were also served with a delicious meal. The total value of the programme was nearly 45 million VND (1,760 USD).
To date, the “Nurturing Children in Moc Chau” project has donated over 11,290 warm jackets, worth more than 1.1 billion VND to 234 schools in Moc Chau, Van Ho, Bac Yen, Phu Yen, Thuan Chau, Muong La and Song Ma districts. In Mai Son alone, it has presented 2,474 jackets, worth 242 million VND.
With meaningful gifts, a warm winter has been brought to students of Phieng Pan commune.

The volunteer club of the Son La High School for the Gifted, in collaboration with the People's Committee of Chieng Phung commune, Song Ma district, on December 24 held an inauguration ceremony for a bridge connecting Pin and Chieng Vang hamlets to the commune centre.
