"Humanitarian Market" programme for Tet 2025 held in Van Ho district

The provincial Red Cross Society, in collaboration with Hanoi-based Song Day Building Materials JSC, organised the Te "Humanitarian Market" programme for the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2025 in Chieng Di 2 hamlet, Van Ho commune, Van Ho district on January 12.

In the programme, 300 disadvantaged households affected by natural disasters in 2024 from Van Ho and Long Luong communes, received "zero dong" vouchers. With each voucher worth 700,000 VND (27.6 USD) per person, the residents could choose essential goods such as cooking oil, seasoning, vermicelli, candy, instant noodles, blankets, clothes, and shampoo. Additionally, the organising committee provided free haircuts for 50 people and donated 40 dance costumes to students of Van Ho Secondary School.

This is a meaningful and practical activity that demonstrates the spirit of mutual support, as well as the care and sharing of organisations and philanthropists, helping improve the lives of those in difficult circumstances, so that they can celebrate a joyful and warm Tet holiday.
