Attending the event were leaders of Tay Bac University, representatives of the provincial Youth Union, and more than 800 students representing the university’s 3,400 students.
Delegates and students looked back on the 75-year history of Vietnamese students and the association as well as its movements, including the "students with five goods " one. The event was expected to encourage students to strive for academic excellence, engage in scientific research, and actively participate in social initiatives to strengthen youth movements.
Outstanding individuals receive the “students with five goods” title at the university level.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Students Association’s chapter at Tay Bac University presented the “students with five goods” title to 182 individuals for their great efforts and performance across five key criteria: morality, academic achievement, physical fitness, volunteerism, and integration. Additionally, nine scholarships were awarded to those who have overcome hardships in their pursuit of education.
Students who have overcome hardships receive scholarships from the Vietnam Student Association's chapter at Tay Bac University.
