The training session on swimming and drowning prevention for children in Son La province in 2025.

During the training session, 350 students from schools across Son La city participated in both theory and practice lessons. They were taught essential skills, techniques, and swimming styles used in rescue situations, such as practical swimming skills, artificial respiration methods (CPR), approaches and rescue holds, techniques to escape when grabbed by a drowning victim, as well as water escape strategies and first aid procedures.

Students are instructed on how to use life buoys to assist drowning victims.

This meaningful and practical activity aimed to provide useful knowledge on prevention methods and appropriate responses to accidents and injuries, especially drowning. It also helped students develop rescue skills and reduce the risks of accidents when emergencies occur.

Students are taught how to swim and move safely in the water environment.
