“Village Light” youth project handed over to Chieng Ngan commune

The Son La city Youth Union, in collaboration with the Youth Union of Son La Power Company, BIDV Son La, and the Son La Lottery One Member LLC, on March 21 installed and handed over the "Village Light" youth project 2025 to Nong La hamlet, Chieng Ngan commune, Son La city.

Youth union members from the participating units installed 17 solar-powered light posts, each with a 300W LED light, along a road stretching over 800 metres in Nong La hamlet. The total investment for the project was nearly 25 million VND (976 USD), contributed by the participating units.

The project was completed and handed over to the people of Nong La hamlet for light management, protection, and maintenance, contributing to ensuring public order and safety in the locality while also meeting several criteria for building a model new-style rural hamlet. This is one of the practical activities of the youth, highlighting their proactive and volunteering role in effectively implementing the campaign “Youth join hands to build new-style rural areas.”

The units hand over the "Village Light" project to the management board of Nong La hamlet, Chieng Ngan commune, Son La city.
