“Warm spring”, “Tet at the border” programmes held in Muong Cai commune
The Muong Cai Border Guard Station on January 4 coordinated with the People's Procuracy and the Youth Union of Song Ma district, and the Muong Cai commune People's Committee to organise the “warm spring” and “Tet at the border” programmes 2025 for local residents in Na Don, Co Bay, and Huoi Co hamlets.
The “Warm spring” and “Tet at the border” programmes 2025 are held for residents in Muong Cai commune.
The programme presented 62 Tet gifts, each worth 500,000 VND (20 USD), to poor households, 12 scholarships to poor students with good learning performance, and 300 bed mats and 1,000 sweaters to primary school and kindergarten students. It also donated 40 million VND to support the construction of "Shelters of Love" for poor women's union members. Under the programme, construction started on Pa Ve hamlet facility and a lighting equipment was given to Hoa Dao Kindergarten. The total cost is more than 600 million VND, funded by organising units and sponsors.

In addition, free haircuts were offered for nearly 100 people, medical examinations and free medicine were given to more than 200 people, and a zero-dong market with more than 4,000 old clothes was also organised.
