Son La Newspaper and Radio-Television on July 1 held a ceremony to launch its SNEWS brand. Attending the event were Dinh Thi Bich Thao, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and head of the committee’s Board for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation, along with leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

A team under the Steering Committee for the Search, Collection and Identification of Remains of Martyrs in Son La province, in coordination with Mai Son commune, on June 27 collected DNA samples from unidentified war martyrs’ remains at the communal martyrs’ cemetery to establish their identities.
