Provincial leaders scrutinise resolutions on socio-economic development, investment attraction

Free medical check-ups, medicine provided for Van Ho residents

As part of activities marking the All People's Security Safeguard Festival 2026, the Son La provincial Department of Public Security, in coordination with Ha Thanh General Hospital in Hanoi, organised a free medical check-up and medicine distribution programme for Van Ho commune's residents on July 14–15 in Long Luong hamlet.

The provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital, in coordination with the Youth Union of the provincial People's Procuracy, the Youth Union of Son La Newspaper and Radio-Television, Truc Lam Hung Quoc Pagoda, and several charitable organisations and benefactors, on July 15 organised the 24th "Day of Companionship with Patients" programme under the theme "Journey of Love."

Classrooms, solar-powered lighting system inaugurated in Yen Son commune

The Chieng On Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Youth Union of Customs Sub-department Region IV, the Youth Union of the Customs Tax Operations Division under the Ministry of Finance’s Customs Department, Hanoi Westminster Primary and Secondary School, and Hanoi-based Green Gables group, inaugurated and handed over two community projects: "Loving School – Helping Children Stay in School" and "Lighting Up the Border Area" in Yen Son commune on July 11.
