Regiment 754 under the provincial Military Command on June 8 held the 2026 oath-taking ceremony for new recruits. Attending the ceremony were Major General Nguyen Dang Khai, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 2; Colonel Chu Van Thanh, Commander of the provincial Military Command; and Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.
A task force responsible for implementing Project 06 on administrative reform and digital transformation in Son La on June 8 launched the “Digital Summer Campaign with VNeID”, aimed at guiding citizens in using digital services and supporting local residents in implementing the project.

The provincial steering committee for the search, recovery and identification of martyrs’ remains, together with leaders of To Hieu ward, on June 3 held an incense-offering ceremony in tribute to heroic martyrs at the ward Martyrs’ Cemetery before carrying out the exhumation and collection of samples for DNA testing to identify the martyrs’ remains.
More than 19,000 ninth-grade students across Son La province on June 1 completed their Literature test, the first in the high school entrance examination for the 2026–2027 academic year. This year, the province has established 44 examination venues with a total of 817 rooms.
