The Son La provincial Youth Union on March 20 held a ceremony to honour outstanding youth union officials and members, and mark the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – 2026).
The Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation Board of the Son La provincial Party Committee, in coordination with Brigade 126 of the Vietnam People’s Navy, held awareness-raising sessions on maritime and island affairs and mobilising resources for the navy in 2026 at Thuan Chau High School and Thuan Chau commune on March 20.
The Son La Department of Agriculture and Environment on March 20 held a policy consultation workshop on supporting production under the national target programmes for the 2026–2030 period. Participants included experts, scientists, representatives from provincial departments, 16 communes and wards, and 20 agricultural enterprises and cooperatives in the province.
The Son La provincial Forest Protection Sub-department is holding a training workshop on the use of eCognition software for interpreting remote sensing imagery in forest management, protection and development from March 17-19.
Ranking second out of 75 communes and wards across Son La province, Chieng Coi ward has become a bright spot in administrative reform in 2025. This result reflects positive changes in administrative reform associated with digital transformation, gradually improving service quality and better meeting the needs of citizens and businesses.
