The success of the final night is the clearest proof of the event’s professionalism in organisation. From the very beginning, the organisers skillfully turned the Moc Chau National Tourism Area, especially Moc Chau Island, into the focus of media attention instead of choosing familiar major cities. Bringing this important event to a mountainous tourist destination rich in cultural identity created a distinct highlight and directly boosted tourism activities in Son La province.

Dam Huong Thuy, head of the organising board, said this is the first time the pageant has been held, marking an impressive beginning for its long journey ahead.

The finale features many well-known artists.

The finale night at Moc Chau Island was truly a “feast” of lights and emotions. The stage was impressively and harmoniously designed, blending modern elements with traditional local cultural beauty against the majestic natural backdrop of the green plateau. The enthusiastic cheers of thousands of spectators ignited emotions and demonstrated the powerful appeal of the contest, extending far beyond the event space itself.

Thirty girls from all regions of the country served as true cultural ambassadors. They genuinely shone with confident beauty and charisma, and with intelligence showcased through their interview performances. The diversity of ethnic backgrounds among the contestants created a unique identity for the pageant, turning the final night into a panoramic portrait of the beauty of Vietnamese women.

The newly crowned Miss Tourism Ethnic Vietnam showed her readiness to accompany the organising board and Son La province in charity programmes, as well as cultural and tourism promotion activities.

One of the most distinctive highlights of the pageant was its establishment of a beauty standard linked with community responsibility and cultural promotion, making it an event that honours cultural diversity. A key feature was the ethnic costume segment, where designers and contestants told stories of their cultural roots through outfits inspired by the traditional brocade patterns of the different ethnic groups such as Thai, Mong, Kinh, Dao, Tay, and Muong, among others.

Sharing her feelings after witnessing the event, Truong Thi Hoai, a visitor from Ha Tinh province, said excitedly that she had followed the pageant’s journey from the very beginning and booked my ticket early to come to Moc Chau Island to watch it live.

“What impressed me the most was the sincerity and warmth that the organisers created. The images of the contestants beside traditional stilt houses, wandering through tea hills, and walking the runway on the Bach Long glass bridge helped them shine together with the culture, thus enhancing the natural landscape of Moc Chau,” she said.

Delivering a welcome speech at the finale, Ha Trung Chien, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, emphasised that for Son La - a land rich in cultural identity, the pageant is an opportunity to introduce to domestic and international visitors its unique cultural values, majestic natural landscapes, friendly and hospitable people, and abundant tourism potential.

This event, together with the regularly organised cultural and tourism activities, will generate strong outreach and connections, helping attract investment and promote the image of Son La’s tourism, he added.

The success of Miss Tourism Ethnic Vietnam 2025 has left a significant mark, serving as an “impressive beginning” in the journey toward becoming a prestigious beauty pageant that seeks outstanding cultural and tourism ambassadors, continuing to showcase the beauty of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups and its promising destinations to a wider world in the future.
