From a high vantage point, Dai Yem Waterfall, with a height of over 100 meters, is divided into two main cascades: one with nine layers and the other with five layers, resembling the stages of love. The waterfall has been heavily invested in by the Pha Luong Tourism Joint Stock Company, which has developed several facilities such as a four-season flower lake, a love glass bridge, and a watch tower. Upon visiting the Dai Yem Waterfall ecotourism site, one is immediately struck by the lush greenery of the trees, accentuated by colourful flower gardens. The buildings are designed in harmony with the natural surroundings, and this destination has been recognised as a 4-star OCOP (One Commune One Product) tourism product.
Dinh Hong Phuc, Deputy Director of the Pha Luong Tourism Joint Stock Company, shared: "A few years ago, when we first heard the term OCOP, we thought it was only for local agricultural products. However, after studying and receiving guidance from relevant authorities, we realised that our tourism site met the criteria for an OCOP tourism product, such as being locally sourced, having a brand, reflecting the local culture, and utilising local advantages. Then, we registered and received the certification as a 4-star OCOP tourism product."
With the mission to preserve, maintain, and develop local culture, the Dai Yem Waterfall ecotourism site provides local residents with free stalls that offer food services and traditional products.
