Van Ho welcomes over 15,500 visitors during Lunar New Year holiday

Van Ho district, with its beautiful and majestic natural landscapes, cool climate, and unique cultural features of various ethnic groups, has become an ideal destination for many tourists during the early days of the spring.

As of the end of the 4th day of the Lunar New Year 2025, tourist sites and tourism service providers in Van Ho district had welcomed over 15,500 visitors, with 4,500 staying overnight. Revenue from tourism activities reached 15.5 billion VND (618,000 USD).

To attract visitors, since the beginning of the year, Van Ho district has organized many unique and exciting cultural activities, such as the Miss Mong contes, the programme welcoming the first tourists to Van Ho in 2025, the exhibition "Nature Through the Lens" at the Hua Tat community-based tourism hamlet, Van Ho commune; and the 2025 Lunar New Year market at the Chieng Đi 1 market, Van Ho commune, with 35 booths from businesses, cooperatives, and business households. These events have lured a large number of locals and tourists from both within and outside the province.
