At the event, delegates and locals of Residential Area 2 looked back on the 94-year history of the Vietnam National United Front (now Vietnam Fatherland Front or VFF) (November 18, 1930 - 2024).
The residential area is home to 217 households with nearly 800 residents belonging to five ethnic groups. The community has upheld the tradition of unity and made efforts in economic development. The urban landscape has improved with green, clean and beautiful streets and alleys. Emphasis has been placed on promoting education and talents, while a range of cultural, art, and sports activities have been held over the past time. Attention has also been paid to gratitude initiatives, social welfare, and maintaining security and order. In 2024, up to 201 households there earned the “family of culture” title, representing 97.1% of the total.
In his remarks, Khanh urged the Party Committee, the Management Board, and the VFF Committee of the residential area to continue with the communications work, encouraging local officials and residents to follow the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, and local conventions. He stressed the need to strengthen the great unity bloc and promote public engagement in patriotic movements and campaigns, towards all-level upcoming Party Congresses, the 16th provincial Party Congress, and the 14th National Party Congress. The provincial leader asked the residential area to spur socio-economic development, maintain security and order, and improve locals’ material and spiritual lives.
