The "Loving School – Helping Children Stay in School" project was built at the Trang Nam campus of Hoa Ban Kindergarten. After nearly four months of construction, the project was completed with two permanent classrooms covering a total area of 210 square metres, a staff room, fences, a covered schoolyard, and a 250sq.m concrete playground. At the inauguration ceremony, the sponsoring organisations also donated essential equipment to the school, including a water purifier, a freezer, a multifunctional cooking pot, whiteboards, and learning materials.
On the same day, delegates unveiled a commemorative plaque and officially handed over the "Lighting Up the Border Area" project in Din Chi, Chieng On, and Tram Hoc hamlets. The project consists of 5.25 kilometres of solar-powered lighting for rural roads, with a total of 253 solar light poles installed.
The total funding for the projects and related activities amounted to nearly 1.5 billion VND (57,105 USD). Of this, more than 1 billion VND was allocated to the school project, nearly 420 million VND was invested in the solar lighting system, and the remainder was used to provide gifts to local schools.
These projects further strengthen the close ties between the military units and local communities, reinforce the "people-based posture," encourage residents to remain in border hamlets, and promote cooperation with the Border Guard Force in safeguarding national sovereignty and border security./.
