The contest, in its fourth edition, brought together 16 teams with 58 contestants who are members of all-level associations for promoting education in Son La, and were selected through district- and city-level contests.
The contestants took the three rounds of knowledge, problem-solving, and talent. In the first, they answered questions relating to national and provincial policies on education promotion, talent nurturing, and the building of a learning society. The second presented them with real-life scenarios in the field of education promotion, testing their ability to handle situations effectively. The third allowed the contestants to showcase their talent through singing, dancing, skits, or storytelling performances, all aimed at promoting and reflecting the importance of education promotion in their communities.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Dang Ngoc Hau emphasised that the contest serves as an opportunity to assess the capacity of education promotion officials from grassroots to provincial levels.
He noted that the event allows officials to enhance their professional skills, and gain experience in advising, managing, and organising activities related to education promotion, talent nurturing, and building a learning society in line with the Party's policies and the State's guidelines. Through this, the province aims to foster a contingent of education promotion officials who are skilled, dedicated, proactive, and creative.
