In a solemn atmosphere, the volunteers offered flowers at the monument “Uncle Ho with the Northwestern Ethnic Communities” at Tay Bac Square, expressing their profound respect and gratitude for the late leader's immense contributions to the nation.
They also reported on the positive achievements of Son La province’s voluntary blood donation movement in recent years, highlighting the pioneering spirit, compassion, and tradition of mutual support.

Following the flower-offering ceremony, the delegation held a parade to promote voluntary blood donation along major streets in the central wards. The parade brought together 100 volunteers, traffic police officers, a mobile broadcasting vehicle, and 30 motorcycles equipped with flags and banners. Setting off from Tay Bac Square, they travelled along key streets, including Hoang Quoc Viet, Hung Vuong, Tran Dang Ninh, Le Duan, Dien Bien, Truong Chinh and To Hieu. The event created a vibrant atmosphere, attracting widespread public attention while raising awareness and encouraging community participation in voluntary blood donation.

According to the plan, the 14th Red Journey in Son La will take place from June 23 to 25. It is expected to attract around 3,000 registered blood donors and collect approximately 2,000 units of blood at donation sites in To Hieu ward, Mai Son commune and Phu Yen commune.
