At the forum, lecturers from Tay Bac University mentioned the role of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU); strengthening the Party's leadership over the HCYU in the current period; and protecting the ideological foundation of the Party and fighting against wrongful and hostile views on the cyber space.

The training course focused on skills for organising collective activities for youth union officers; creating videos and improving communication skills for youth union programmes; applying AI technology in the implementation of youth union initiatives and ensuring safe use of social media; and how to organise effective youth union meetings.

On this occasion, the Youth Union of Tay Bac University launched an online competition themed "Youth of Son La proudly and confidently follow the Party."
