The “Regreening Forest” initiative was launched by PanNature in 2022 with the goal of restoring 500 hectares of natural forest connecting the Mai Chau area (Phu Tho) and Van Ho area (Son La) over a 10-year period from 2022 to 2032.

This forest corridor is considered an important “green lung” of the northwestern region and is home to the rare white-cheeked gibbon as well as many endemic plant and animal species. From 2022 to 2025, with contributions from businesses, organisations, and local communities, PanNature planted more than 180,000 trees, restoring over 300 hectares of forest land.
