Local people have invested in upgrading 188 km of alley lighting systems in hamlets and sub-areas in 13 communes, contributing to ensuring security and order, and promoting economic and social development in rural areas.

In addition, Moc Chau has promoted production development associated with agricultural restructuring, rural economic restructuring, and increasing people's income. It currently has 293 facilities applying water-saving irrigation systems for more than 481 hectares of crops; and 36 establishments investing in building greenhouses and net houses on an area of nearly 46 hectares. As many as 1,673 organizations and individuals apply organic farming on more than 2,300 hectares, along with three organic livestock models.

The district has more than 100 cooperatives operating in the field of agriculture and agricultural services with a total charter capital of over 169 billion VND ($6.93 million) and 1,045 members, creating regular jobs for 1,224 workers and over 1,500 seasonal workers.
