During the training, participants are equipped with knowledge on disaster risk management and assessment, as well as climate change, in accordance with the Law on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control. They are also introduced to processes for data collection, information processing, and database development to support disaster prevention and control efforts at the local level.

In addition, participants will receive guidance on developing action plans with community participation, integrating gender equality, and supporting vulnerable groups.

Participants attend the training.

Through the training, participants will not only improve their knowledge and skills but also become trainers themselves, capable of directly guiding and organising disaster risk assessments at the grassroots level. This will contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of disaster prevention and control efforts, minimising damage, and promoting sustainable development in the locality.
