Currently, Chieng Hac commune has 1,355 hectares of mangoes, mainly the Taiwanese GL4 variety. In 2026, its total mango output is estimated to reach around 10,000 tonnes. Of this, 86 hectares are produced under VietGAP standards. There are 13 export-certified growing area codes covering 110.5 hectares, along with one mango packaging facility code.
At the event, participants were instructed on mango bagging techniques to reduce pests and diseases, improve product quality and appearance, and meet market requirements, especially export standards. Mango bagging is identified as an important solution to enhance the value of the fruit and contribute to building the local agricultural brand.

Local cooperatives signed agreements with enterprises on cooperation in selling the product, thereby expanding stable markets for Chieng Hac mangoes.
At the event, the staff of the commune General Service Centre also guided farmers in practicing mango bagging directly in orchards, helping them access technical procedures from fruit selection to proper bagging and tying techniques to ensure healthy fruit development.
The launch of the mango bagging campaign in 2026 demonstrates Chieng Hac commune’s determination to improve product quality, meet market demands, move toward safe and sustainable agricultural production, and increase export value in the coming time.
