Staff of the Nam Lau commune Integrated Service Centre provide guidance to farmers on post-harvest coffee tree care.
The 2025 coffee crop enjoyed a bumper harvest, with an average yield of 7-8 tonnes of coffee cherries per hectare. Coffee prices reached a record high of 28,000–30,000 VND (1.14 USD) per kilogramme of fresh cherries, generating revenue of over 200 million VND (7,612 USD) per hectare.
Currently, the commune People’s Committee is reviewing the entire coffee-growing area to stabilise and develop concentrated production zones. Local authorities are encouraging farmers to replace aging and low-yield coffee areas, prioritising the use of high-yield, high-quality varieties that are resistant to pests and diseases and suitable for local conditions.
Farmers are also being guided to apply proper replanting techniques in accordance with technical standards.
