Programme brings Vietnamese goods to rural, far-flung areas

The provincial Centre for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion is coordinating with relevant units to organise the “Vietnamese people prioritise Vietnamese goods” campaign in conjunction with the programme to bringing Vietnamese goods to rural, remote and disadvantaged areas in Van Ho commune from January 22 to 25.

An overview of the opening ceremony of the programme.

Delegates attend the opening ceremony.

The programme features 30 booths with the participation of 20 enterprises and cooperatives from inside and outside the province. Products on display are diverse, including OCOP (One Commune One Product) items, typical rural industrial products, farm produce, processed foods, and essential consumer goods.

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the programme.

Enterprises and cooperatives have brought high-quality products to local residents, with publicly listed prices and various promotional offers, enabling consumers to shop with confidence. The event also provides an opportunity for businesses to survey the market and better understand consumer demand in mountainous, remote and disadvantaged areas, thereby improving designs, enhancing product quality, and expanding markets.

The programme helps meet consumer demand, especially ahead of the Lunar New Year, and enables residents to access high-quality Vietnamese products at reasonable prices with clear origins, contributing to the gradual formation of a habit of prioritising Vietnamese goods.
