These traditional sports, including tug of war, stick pushing, and walking on stilts, were competed by more than 200 athletes from 11 communes and town in the district.

The stick pushing and walking on stilts are competitions for individual men and women; while the tug of war is a mixed team competition, with eight athletes each team and a total weight of no more than 540 kg.

In addition to sports competitions, there were also folk games such as ‘con’ (cloth ball) throwing, and ‘to mak le’, creating a vibrant and bustling atmosphere on the first days of spring and the new year.
