The tournament was jointly organised by the General Department of Sports under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the Republic of Korea’s CJ Group and the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation.
This year’s championship saw competition from over 1,300 coaches and athletes from 44 units nationwide. Competitors participated in four age groups, under 12 years old, 12-14 years old, 15-17 years old, and 18-20 years old, for both boys and girls.
