The Yen Chau running race 2025, slated for February 15, is expected to attract nearly 1,000 professional and amateur runners, competing in both men's and women's categories, with two distances of 7 km and 15 km.

For the 7-km race, the route will start at Con Huot 2 hamlet; pass through the intersection of the new road, the Tam Thanh cultural house, the Kien Cuong pear orchard, and the Kim Chung 2 plum valley; and finish at the Kim Chung 2 stadium.

The 15-km race will start at the Mo Than cultural house in Long Phieng commune; passing through the hamlets of Hang Mon, Kim Chung, and Tam Thanh, the Kien Cuong pear orchard, and the Kim Chung 2 plum valley; and end at the Kim Chung 2 stadium in Phieng Khoai commune.

The running route passes through a plum valley in Phien Khoai commune.

This is the first time Yen Chau district is organising the race in a border commune, with routes passing through plum and pear valleys, promising to inspire both athletes and visitors. The race will also contribute to promoting and showcasing the image and cultural identity of the ethnic groups in the district.
