Communist Review presents gifts to border residents

A delegation from the Communist Review led its Deputy Editor-in-Chief Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha visited and presented gifts to people of Chieng Khuong commune, Song Ma district on December 28 afternoon at the Chieng Khuong Border Guard Station.

Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha and Dinh Thi Bich Thao, head of the provincial Party Committee's Commission for Information and Education, present gifts to households.

Going with them were Dinh Thi Bich Thao, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and head of the provincial Party Committee's Commission for Information and Education; and leaders of the provincial Border Guard Command, and Song Ma district.

The delegation visited the households living in difficult circumstances and wished them a healthy, peaceful, and happy new year. Ha encouraged them to strive to overcome difficulties, and promote production to get rid of poverty and become well-off households, thus contributing to the development of their homeland and the country. He also highlighted the importance of  maintaining the effective implementation of social security work, improving the material and spiritual life of policy beneficiary families and poor households, and firmly protecting the national sovereignty and border security.

Leaders of the provincial Border Guard Command and Song Ma district present gifts to disadvantaged households.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 20 gifts, worth worth 1 million VND (20 USD) each, to 20 households and students in difficult circumstances of Chieng Khuong commune.
