Contest on administrative reform within Party opens

The provincial Party Committee on July 30 kicked off a contest on administrative reform within the Party.

The contest on administrative reform within the Party opens on July 30.

The opening ceremony was attended by Lo Minh Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and head of the Steering Committee for Administrative Reform within the Party, and the contest organising committee; and other leaders, along with 17 competition teams with 170 members from agencies under the provincial Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organisations in the province, Son La Newspaper, the provincial school of politics, district and city Party committees, and the Party Committee of the bloc of agencies and enterprises in Son La province.

In his opening remarks, Hung said the contest aims to popularise Party administrative reforms among officials, Party members, civil servants and public employees of the Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organisations of the province.

It is also to raise awareness of all-level Party committees and organisations, officials, Party members, civil servants, and public employees about the role and importance of administrative reform within the Party, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organisations, contributing to improving the effectiveness of building a pure and strong Party and political system.

At the same time, it is expected to encourage all-level Party committees and organisations, advisory and assisting agencies of all-level Party committees, Vietnam Fatherland Front committees and socio-political organisations to continue effectively implementing the project on enhancing administrative reform within the Party, Vietnam Fatherland Front committees and socio-political organisations at the provincial and district levels in the 2022-2025 period.

The teams will go through three parts – greeting, multiple-choice quiz and skit, during which they will show off their understanding about the policies, guidelines and directions of the Party Central Committee and the province related to administrative reform within the Party, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organisations, as well as the implementation of the above-said project.

The contest is scheduled to wrap up on July 31.

Right after the opening ceremony, the 17 teams entered the first part – greeting.

With thorough preparations, from introduction to costumes and tools, the teams gave an overview on the formation and development of agencies under the provincial Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organisations in the province, Son La Newspaper, city and district Party committees, and the Party Committee of the bloc of agencies and enterprises in Son La province, as well as their outstanding achievements in administrative reform.
