Implementing the Prime Minister's Directive No. 05/CT-TTg and Plan No. 2959, the province has focused on directing and mobilising the entire political system to carry out the related tasks. The province's Steering Committee 982 and steering committees in all 75 communes and wards have been established. The provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment has deployed 200 professional staff to provide direct support to localities, while also setting up a dashboard system to monitor implementation progress on a daily basis down to each commune and ward.
As of July 5, a total of 1,181,088 land parcels across the province had been updated to the Vietnam Land Information System (VNLIS), accounting for 47.8% of the total number. Of these, 611,305 parcels met the criteria of being “accurate, complete, clean and up-to-date,” an increase of 88,626 parcels compared to the time when Plan No. 2959 was launched.
The province also created and transferred 107,224 land parcels from categories without data to those with available data. At the same time, it has maintained the stable operation of 500,759 standard-compliant land parcels on the system and updated land-use changes in real time.
Between June 1 and July 5, several localities recorded high data-update rates, including Muong La, with an average of around 1,000 land parcels updated per day, and Muong Hung and Chieng Khoong, with about 900 parcels updated daily.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Cong directed departments, agencies and local authorities to continue addressing difficulties and bottleneck, maintaining weekly review meetings and publicly disclosing implementation progress to ensure timely supervision and direction.
He tasked the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment with continuing to assign staff to work closely with localities and provide professional guidance. The provincial Department of Public Security was requested to coordinate the verification and cross-checking of information on land users, while the Department of Finance was urged to promptly issue guidance on matters within its authority to ensure the necessary conditions for implementation.
The Vice Chairman also stressed the need to strengthen coordination, review and closely monitor progress, with a determination to fulfil all targets set out in the plan. He emphasised that implementation results will serve as a basis for assessing the responsibility and performance of agencies, organisations, individuals and their leaders./.
