Preparations for ceremony announcing national status of Moc Chau tourist site completed

Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, on May 9 chaired a meeting on preparations for the organisation of tourism promotion activities and a ceremony announcing the decision of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognising of the Moc Chau National Tourist Area.

At the meeting, the sub-committees reported that preparations for the activities and the ceremony have been basically completed. The tasks regarding finance, reception, logistics, guest invitation, and communications have been carried out as scheduled.

Speaking at the meeting, Khanh asked the subcommittees to perform their assigned tasks as planned, well prepare facilities, equipment and other necessary conditions for the ceremony and the activities, ensuring that they will take place in a safe, effective and economical fashion.

The subcommittees were also requested to sketch out scenarios, programmes, and contents of the activities, which should match the situation, and promote distinctive tourism potential, unique cultural traits, and specialties of the locality.

Other tasks include the communications work before, during and after the ceremony, and rewards for individuals and organisations that have significantly contributed to the recognition.

At the same time, the subcommittees need to step up their coordination and information sharing, and quickly remove obstacles to the implementation./.
