Provincial Party chief presents Party membership badge to former leader

Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, presented the 40-year Party membership badge to Thao Xuan Sung, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and former Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, in Long He commune on August 27.

Sung is also former Chairman of the provincial People's Council and former head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies.

Attending the ceremony were Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, the Standing Board of the Thuan Chau district Party Committee, and the Long He communal Party Committee.

At the ceremony to present the 40-year Party membership badge to Thao Xuan Sung, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and former Secretary of the provincial Party Committee.

Congratulating Sung on receiving the 40-year Party membership badge, Khanh affirmed that during his 40 years in the Party, Sung has made many great and important contributions to the development of Son La province.

He believed that the former provincial leader will continue to devote his intelligence, uphold his sense of responsibility, and contribute his valuable experience to build the local Party Committee and authorities stronger and stronger.

For his part, Sung said he is moved and proud when receiving the 40-year Party membership badge. This is a noble award and also a motivation for him to continue to devote himself to the locality as a Party member, contributing to building the great national unity bloc in his locality.
