Provincial Party official attends great national unity festival in Quynh Nhai district

Bui Minh Tan, member of the provincial Party Standing Committee and head of the committee's Board for Internal Affairs on November 16 attended the great national unity festival in Pom Sinh hamlet, Chieng Bang commune, Quynh Nhai district.

Implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilized areas", 75 households in Pom Sinh hamlet have well carried out emulation movements launched by authorities at all levels. People in the hamlet have stayed active in working, producing, and transforming crop and livestock structures; while taking advantage of the water surface of the hydroelectric reservoir to raise 268 fish cages.

They have united to together preserve the good traditional cultures of the ethnic groups and protect the environment and scenery.

The lives of locals have become stable day by day, with an average annual income reaching 40 million VND (1,646 USD) per person. There is only one poor household left in the hamlet while 60 households have been recognised as “cultural family”.

The great national unity festival also featured cultural and art exchanges, attracting a large number of participants, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere that helps tighten community solidarity.
