Scientific, technological research results 2023 to be materialised

The provincial Department and Technology on May 12 organised a conference on the hand-over of scientific and technological research results which were appraised and accepted in 2023, and are expected to be put into place.

The event was attended by Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, and representatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST)’s National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Development, agencies, and the People’s Committees of districts and Son La city.

Last year, the Department of Science and Technology appraised and accepted 11 scientific and technological tasks, which have contributed to providing a scientific basis for the development of crops and livestock, as well as the building and replication of technology-driven models to improve productivity, quality, and values of key agricultural products.

Socio-economic studies were conducted, gradually building a scientific basis for the province to sketch out guidelines and policies, serving its socio-economic development and national defence and security.

The Department of Science and Technology handed over the research and application results of the 11 scientific and technological tasks to such units as the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Son La province, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chimi Vietnam JSC, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the People's Committee of Moc Chau district’s Muong Sang commune, the People’s Committee of Van Ho district, the Department Education and Training, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and the People's Committee of Song Ma district.
