Son La city leaders, recruits offer flowers to President Ho Chi Minh, heroic martyrs

Leaders of Son La city and representatives from the Political Department of Military Region 2, along with 132 local young citizens enlisted in the military and police forces for 2025, laid flowers at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh in Tay Bac (Northwest) Square and visited the Son La Prison Martyrs' Cemetery on February 14.

The city leaders reported to the late leader the 2024 achievements and the organisation of the 2025 enlistment festival. The Party organisation, administration, and people of Son La city pledged to uphold and promote the revolutionary traditions, forever follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, and continue to strengthen the studying and following of the late leader’s thoughts, morality, and style. They vowed to strive to build a clean and strong Party organisation, contributing to the development of Son La province in a green, fast, and sustainable manner.

Visiting the Son La Prison Martyrs' Cemetery, the delegates and recruits offered incense and expressed their deep gratitude for the great sacrifices of the martyrs, who bravely gave their lives for the cause of national independence and reunification. They pledged to continue the work of previous generations, fulfilling their duties and contributing to building Son La into a more prosperous and beautiful province.
