Son La city’s leader visits, presents Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children

Ha Trung Chien, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, Secretary of the Son La city Party Committee, and Chairman of the city People's Council, on September 16 visited and presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to local children.

Those gifted are students at the provincial Social Protection Center; Sao Mai and Hoa Hong Kindergartens; and Chieng Ngan A and Chieng Ngan B Primary and Secondary Schools in Chieng Ngan commune, Son La city.

Currently, the provincial Social Protection Center is raising and caring for 93 orphans and disadvantaged children. The city leader presented gifts to and encouraged the children, hoping that they would try to overcome difficulties and excel in their study. At the same time, he requested the staff, employees and workers of the center to fulfill their duties of raising the children so that they can become useful citizens.

The Secretary of the city Party Committee visits and presents Mid-Autumn Festival gifts at the Chieng Ngan A Primary and Secondary School.

Visiting the schools, Chien requested schools continue to pay more attention to caring for and educating children, especially poor kids and those in difficult circumstances, helping them excel in learning.
