The opening ceremony was attended by Cha A Cua, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, who serves as head of the organising committee; and Dinh Thi Bich Thao, a member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and head of the committee's Board for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation, who is deputy head of the organising committee, among other officials.
In his opening remarks, Cua said disseminating and translating into action the resolutions adopted at the 14th National Party Congress and local Party congresses for the 2025–2030 term is a key political task.
He said the contest provides an opportunity to assess the quality of the province's rapporteurs and public communicators while serving as a forum for participants to exchange experience and further modernise communication methods, making them more concise, accessible and closely linked to practical realities.
Cua called on the judging panel to ensure a fair and impartial evaluation, while urging contestants to demonstrate professionalism, creativity and a strong sense of responsibility, applying their knowledge and communication skills effectively and drawing on practical experience to contribute to the contest's success.
Twenty outstanding contestants take part in the contest
Following the opening ceremony, the 20 contestants competed in three events: preparing a presentation outline, delivering a presentation and answering questions. Their presentations focused on the key content and new points of the Party resolutions, while linking the themes to local conditions. Contestants were also assessed on their presentation skills, communication abilities and responses to scenario-based questions.
The event runs from July 7 to 8, with the closing ceremony and award presentation scheduled for 4 p.m. on July 8./.
