Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Moc Chau district convenes 20th congress 

The 20th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee in Moc Chau district for the 2024-2029 tenure was held on May 23.

Over the past term, the district VFF Committee has coordinated with its member organisations in the communications work, encouraging local residents to follow the Party’s guidelines, and the State’s policies and laws, and respond to patriotic emulation movements. 

Joint efforts have been made to consolidate, strengthen, and promote the great national solidarity, successfully achieving socio-economic and cultural development targets, while maintaining national defence and security

During the new term, themed "Solidarity - Democracy - Responsibility - Innovation - Development", the district VFF Committee and its member organisations will further reform operational contents and methods in a specific, practical, flexible and innovative fashion. 

They will also work to foster the great national solidarity bloc, uphold democracy, promote consensus, improve the quality of social supervision and criticism, represent and protect the legal and legitimate rights and interests of people, step up the fight against corruption and wastefulness, and play a more active role in building a pure, strong Party and administration.

After negotiations, the congress picked up 59 personnel for the district VFF Committee for 2024-2029, and 15 official and two alternate delegates to the 12th congress of the provincial VFF Committee. 

 Collectives receive certificates of merit from the Chairperson of the district People’s Committee.
