Attending the event were five teams from the Mong ethnic group from Co Ma, Long He, Co Tong, Pa Long, and Muong Bam communes.
Each team performed 3-5 items within 15 minutes, showcasing various traditional dances and ‘khen’ (panpipe) dances used in rituals, festivals, and community cultural activities of the Mong people. The performances praised the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland, the country, people, and couples’ love. For music performances, the teams used Mong panpipes, leaf panpipes, and bamboo flute to present the traditional works of the Mong ethnic group.
