The camp took place from March 17 to 26, with the participation of 22 members from various disciplines, including literature, theory and criticism, folklore research and collection, photography, ethnic minority poetry, fine arts, and music.
During the camp, the artists and writers made a field trip to Van Son ward where they held discussions and working sessions with the ward People’s Committee, and visited the 19/5 Agricultural Service and Development Cooperative, as well as popular tourist sites such as Loi Tuoi Farm and the Heart-shaped Tea Hill, to gather materials and seek inspiration for their creative works.
At the end of the camp, the organising board received 64 works, manuscripts, outlines, and sketches from 22 authors and members across various disciplines, including 15 literature works, 11 poems in ethnic languages, 22 photographic works, 11 fine arts works, two dance scripts, one folklore research and collection work, and two literature theory and criticism works.
The works closely followed the themes and content, vividly reflecting the changes in socio-economic development, culture, and the lives of people in Van Son. Many pieces possess high artistic value, clearly demonstrating the dedication and responsibility of the artists, and contributing to promoting the image of the land and people of Van Son in particular, and Son La province in general, during the period of renewal and development.
