Son La responds to 2024 Vietnam Labour Skills Day

The provincial People’s Committee has issued a document regarding the organisation of activities in response to Vietnam Labour Skills Day on October 4.

It asked agencies and localities to respond to the day in line with instructions of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. Key activities include promoting the purpose and significance of Vietnam Labour Skills Day, highlighting the critical role of skilled workers, and fostering collaboration between the State, educational institutions, businesses, and the society in developing workforce skills. The province also aims to showcase achievements and initiatives that enhance vocational skills.

A teacher at Muong Hun Primary School in Song Ma district applies technology to teaching. 

Activities take place from September 30 to October 6, featuring online seminars and conferences on vocational training for teachers, students, and labourers. Additionally, skilled workers will be honoured for their outstanding performance. Public displays, including digital billboards, will feature slogans and messages advocating for vocational skills and workforce development.
