The competition, the 11th of its kind, brought together 183 teachers from 137 preschools across the province, who competed in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) and five other categories, targeting children from 25 to 36 months of age, and others from three to five years old. The contestants delivered a presentation on education methods and practiced them at class.
According to organisers, the competition took place safely, with many good presentations, demonstrating reforms in teaching methods, which put children at the centre.
The participating teachers thoroughly prepared for their presentations, they said, adding that their activities took place on the right track and were suitable for the targeted groups. They showed off both their knowledge and flexibility in teaching, attracting children to join such activities.
At the end of the competition, the organisers presented certificates to 176 eligible teachers and those who gained high achievements./.
