Renowned Vietnamese musician Le Minh Son, known for his creative style and outstanding musical talent, led the "mashup”—a new piece created by mixing and blending segments from various old songs. This marked the first time that traditional melodies from the Northwestern region were played as a guitar and violin duet in the picturesque setting of the Northwest Square. The artists delivered an emotionally charged and unique musical programme that was both traditional and modern, refined yet powerful, captivating the audience.

Notably, young singer Tien Dat performed the song he had composed for the Ban Flower Festival, titled "Thanh pho Son La" (Son La city). With its gentle, soulful melody combined with lyrics inspired by the mountainous landscapes of the Northwest, the song touched the hearts of the audience. It was not only a beautiful piece of music but also a heartfelt tribute to the land and people of Son La.

The performance by the Hanoi artists at the Ban Flower Festival left a deep impression, enriching the activities of this year's festival.
