Due to the impact of typhoons Prapiroon and Yagi, 131 households in Chieng Den commune suffered damage to their houses and property. Of which, 39 houses collapsed and buried by rocks and soil; and the remainders were flooded. Additionally, 191 hectares of crops were buried. The estimated loss was about 10 billion VND (406,092 USD).

The delegation presented 100 gifts, each consisting of 500,000 VND in cash and necessities worth 1.1 million VND to severely affected households. The funding was provided by the Dak Lak provincial Red Cross Society and benefactor Cao Thi Thu Ha, residing in Phuoc An town, Krong Pac district, Dak Lak province.
