Located 3 kilometers from the commune's center, the school facility serves 80 students, aged 6 to 10, all of whom are from Mong ethnic families facing difficult circumstances. It has five poorly-equipped classrooms.
In an effort to ease the challenges faced by the school facility, ZTE HK Vietnam donated a 50-inch TV to facilitate online English learning and delivered 80 gift packages, each containing warm clothes, backpacks, school supplies, snacks, and 250,000 VND (9.82 USD) in cash, for students.
Additionally, the team gave out 10 Tet gift packages (each comprising rice, cooking oil, warm blankets, and 500,000 VND in cash) to 10 impoverished households in the hamlet. The total value of the gifts amounted to nearly 70 million VND (2,750 USD).
The delegation plans to sponsor the construction of a playground and a new school gate for the Din Chi facility in early 2025. The estimated cost of the project is approximately 80 million VND, which will come from donations from the company's employees.
