Great National Unity Festival held in Muong Va hamlet

Colonel Chu Van Thanh, Commander of the Son La provincial Military Command, attended the Great National Unity Festival in Muong Va hamlet, Muong Va commune, Sop Cop district on November 14.

At the festival, delegates and people reviewed the 94th founding anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (now Vietnam Fatherland Front) (November 18, 1930 - 2024); and the results of the campaign "All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilised urban areas" in 2024.

As a border hamlet, Muong Va has 450 households, of which 70% belong to the Lao ethnic group. Over the years, local people have always complied with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, and local regulations; stayed united and made efforts to develop the economy, and applied technical advances to production. The hamlet has over 80% of households achieving the “Family of Culture” title, and 100% of the population gaining access to television and radio programmes.

Commander Thanh expressed his hope that the hamlet will continue to build the great national unity bloc, promote the self-management movement, actively participate in protecting security and order, preventing and repelling social evils, and engage in campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, thus building a rich and civilised homeland.

Colonel Chu Van Thanh presents gifts from the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to Muong Va hamlet.

The provincial Military Command presents gifts to 20 poor households in Muong Va hamlet.
