"Great Unity" houses presented to poor households in Chieng Kheo commune

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Mai Son district on November 29 handed over "Great Unity" houses to poor and particularly disadvantaged households in Chieng Kheo commune.

Leaders of the VFF Committee of Mai Son district hand over a "Great Unity" house to the family of Tong Thi Liem in Lon Keo hamlet, Chieng Kheo commune.

The district VFF Committee delivered a total of eight "Great Unity" houses to impoverished families and those facing severe housing difficulties in Chieng Kheo commune.

Each house covers nearly 60 square meters, and meets the "3 solid" standards (solid foundation, solid frame, and solid roof), with an estimated value of nearly 200 million VND (8,000 USD). Of this amount, the "For the Poor" Fund contributed 50 million VND, with the remaining covered by the family.

Leaders of the district VFF Committee hand over a "Great Unity" house to the family of Hoang Thi Dua in Buot Van hamlet, Chieng Kheo commune, Mai Son district.

This initiative demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, mutual assistance, and the sharing of the Party committees, authorities, the VFF committtees at all levels, along with support from organizations, businesses, and individuals. It aims to help poor households and those facing extreme hardship stabilize their lives and rise out of poverty.
