HCM City delegation presents gifts to flood-hit students in Moc Chau, Van Ho districts

A delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Promoting Education and the NHQ Edu System in the city on September 19-20 presented gifts and scholarships to students affected by the recent flooding in Moc Chau and Van Ho districts.

The HCM City delegation presents gifts to students in Muong Sang commune, Moc Chau district. 

The gifts included 200 boxes of clothing, 40 others of used books, 2,000 notebooks, and 200 backpacks, with a total value of 80 million VND (3,251 USD).

The delegation also awarded 240 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND, to students in Chieng Son, Dong Sang, and Muong Sang communes of Moc Chau district, and Chieng Xuan commune of Van Ho district, which have been severely affected by the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi.

The gifts have helped students in the disaster-stricken areas overcome difficulties and continue their study.
