HIV prevention workshop held for 90 Tay Bac University students

The provincial Centre for Disease Control, in collaboration with Tay Bac University, on November 29 organised a workshop on HIV prevention and provision of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) services for 90 students of the university.

At the event, students were given an overview of the Global Fund for HIV/AIDS Technical Assistance Project for the 2024-2026 period; the provision of HIV prevention and treatment, and PrEP services in the locality and those being supported by the fund in 2024. It also offered an opportunity to discuss and share experience in persuading people at high risks to get tested for HIV and seek PrEP treatment.
