Local school holds career counseling programme 2024

The Son La High School for the Gifted on March 31 organised a career counseling programme in 2024.

Students were informed about future career trends and career choices; current priority fields; principles and notes for students and parents when choosing a career; and the high school graduation exam and the thinking assessment tests.

The programme helped students identify the necessary competencies of a worker, the ability to choose a career that suits their abilities, interests, conditions and circumstances to continue their higher education and vocational training or join the labour market, as well as the ability to adapt to changes in the context of globalisation and the new industrial revolution.

In addition, students also received answers related to high school graduation and university admission exams; career orientations, and job opportunities after graduation. Experience in studying, living and working part-time, and activities when studying at professional schools were shared at the event, helping students understand more about careers and make appropriate choices.
