Muong La has 32 national heritage trees

The Muong La district People's Committee on June 10 held a ceremony to announce decisions and receive certificates recognising 32 national heritage trees in the locality.

Last year, Muong La coordinated with the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment to survey 40 ancient trees in five communes and town for recognition. Accordingly, the association agreed to grant the national title to 32 ancient trees of different types in Muong Bu, Ta Bu, Hua Trai, and Nam Pam communes and It Ong town.
